Sean Bertleff is a seasoned emergency management professional with extensive experience in developing and implementing comprehensive Emergency Management and Business Continuity programs across various organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Emergency Management and Business Continuity for the City of Kitchener, Sean has previously held key positions such as Manager of Emergency Management for York Region and Associate Director of Regional Emergency Planning for Niagara Region, where responsibilities included operational readiness, policy development, and collaboration with community partners. Sean's career spans over two decades in emergency services, starting from a Planning Technician role at the City of Kitchener to advanced leadership positions in multiple municipalities, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing public safety and emergency preparedness. Sean holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Honours Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo - United College.
