Tina Malone-Wright has over two decades of experience in development approvals and urban planning, currently serving as the Manager of Development Approvals for the City of Kitchener since February 2000, following various leadership roles including Supervisor of Development Applications and Interim Manager of Development Review. Tina has a proven track record in coordinating and managing development review processes and special planning projects, such as the Neighbourhood Planning Review and Kitchener’s first rapid transit station area plan. Prior to joining the City of Kitchener, Tina worked as a Planner/Planning Technician for the Town of Orangeville. Tina's educational background includes a BA in Honours Geography from McMaster University and a Diploma in Planning Technician from Mohawk College, along with several professional development programs, including Indigenous Canada from the University of Alberta.
