Daniela Parsley

Daniela Parsley is an experienced professional currently serving as a Precalculus Teacher at IDEA Public Schools since August 2023, and as a Cake Designer at Mama Nena’s Cakes LLC since March 2023. Daniela holds multiple roles, including City Councilwoman for the City of Kyle, TX since December 2021, and previously worked as a Senior Claims Adjuster and Services Consultant at Progressive Insurance from September 2020 to November 2023. Earlier career experiences include a position as DSS at Microsoft and a Personal Banker at Wells Fargo, where responsibilities encompassed customer account management and fraud investigations. Daniela has a robust background in the culinary arts, having owned and managed Mama Nena's Bakery and specialized in cake design since 2009. An accomplished educator, Daniela taught Mechanical of Materials at Universidad de los Andes (VE) from 2004 to 2006. Daniela's academic background includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (VE) and various certifications in pastry arts from Monterey Peninsula College. Currently pursuing further education at The University of Texas Permian Basin.
