Lauralee Harris

Lauralee Harris currently serves as a Kyle City Council Member for District 4 starting December 2023 and has been an established author since March 2021, with the release of the book "Secrets of the Hall." Harris is the owner of Harris Nonprofit Consulting, which has been operational since May 1994, providing services in nonprofit agency evaluation, board and program development, fund development, and business planning. From May 2008 to April 2014, Harris held the position of Division Director of Institutional Funding at the American Cancer Society, overseeing grant proposals across six states. Prior experience includes the role of Executive Director at the Mental Health Association of Tarrant County from 1996 to 2005, focusing on budgeting, fundraising, and program development. Educational qualifications include a DrPH in Social & Behavioral/Community Health from the UNT Health Science Center and an MPA in Nonprofit Management from Angelo State University.
