Scott Munzenmaier, CPPO, has extensive experience in public procurement and administrative analysis, currently serving as the Purchasing Officer for the City of La Mesa, CA, since July 2003. Responsibilities include citywide procurement, equipment replacement, and management of inventory and annual contracts, in addition to updating the City's fee cost allocation plan and cable television franchise administration. Scott has also held roles as Administrative Analyst II, overseeing franchise agreements and public education programs, and as Business License Officer, managing the business licensing program. Earlier experience includes serving as a Police Officer, enforcing laws and engaging in public relations, as well as a Sergeant at Transit Systems Security, where oversight of patrol operations was key. Scott's educational background includes a BS in Finance from San Diego State University and a Certificate in Sustainable Business Practices from UC San Diego.
