Tranice McGriff is an experienced professional in education and human resources, currently serving as the HR School-to-Work Specialist for the City of Lakeland since April 2017. In this role, Tranice is responsible for the creation and management of the School-to-Work Program, fostering partnerships with local schools and organizations to enhance awareness of STEM careers. Prior to this position, Tranice worked as a Training Specialist at Lakeland Electric, focusing on employee development within the Electric Department, and served as a teacher for the Polk County School Board. Tranice began a career in insurance as a Claims Representative at Progressive Insurance. Tranice holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University and multiple Bachelor of Science degrees in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University.
