Lakeville’s rich history revolves around Lake Marion, Antlers Park, the railroad and its connections to the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Lakeville has an active and growing business community, with over 1,428 businesses and benefits from a strategic location along with interstate, rail and air access, both through Airlake Airport and MSP International Airport, only 15 miles from the city.
