Daniel Wolter is a seasoned professional in government relations and communications, currently serving as the Government Relations Director for Hy-Vee, Inc. since November 2020, where responsibilities include managing legislative and executive branch relationships across Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Wolter also holds a position as a City Council Member for Lakeville, appointed in January 2023. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Advisor in the Office of Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and as Government Relations Director at Pfizer, overseeing state government relations in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Wolter has extensive experience in public relations, having served as Director of News Service for the University of Minnesota and Director of Communications for the Office of the Governor of Minnesota. A graduate of Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, and The George Washington University with a Master's in Strategic Public Relations, Wolter brings a strong academic foundation to a dynamic career in public affairs and governmental communication.
