Ashby Grundman

Ashby Grundman, AICP, currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Lakeway since March 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Assistant City Administrator and Director of Building and Development Services at the City of West Lake Hills, as well as Interim City Administrator during their tenure there from June 2021 to March 2023. From June 2018 to June 2021, Ashby held the titles of Director of Development Services and Director of Planning at the City of Hutto. Their career began in planning roles at the City of Pasadena, where Ashby worked as a Land-Use Planner and Planning Intern. Ashby has an academic background with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University.
