Katie Faltys

Katie Faltys is an experienced economic development professional currently serving as the Interim Economic Development Manager and Senior Economic Development Specialist for the City of Lakewood since June 2018. In these roles, Katie organizes prospect visits, develops council resolutions, manages business retention and expansion programs, and collaborates with regional partners to connect local businesses with opportunities. Additionally, since January 2023, Katie has held roles as the Interim Executive Director and Project Manager for the Lakewood Reinvestment Authority, focusing on redevelopment strategies and managing a revolving loan fund. Past experience includes a Sales Associate position at Gene Taylors Sporting Goods and an internship with the City of Gunnison, where Katie gained insight into local government functions. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Western Colorado University.
