Christine Malta, MPA, has extensive experience in public safety, project management, and land development. Currently serving as the Manager of Public Safety and Community Services, as well as Manager of Capital Programs and Manager of Finance for the City of Lancaster since March 2017, Malta has a strong background in coordinating county facility projects with a focus on timely completion and budget management. Previous roles include Assistant Operations Chief for the Los Angeles County Treasurer Tax Collector and Facilities Project Manager for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, where Malta oversaw security for social service facilities and managed various administrative functions. Prior experience with Beazer Homes USA, Inc., and Tarco, Inc. further underscores expertise in land development and project management. Malta holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Marist College and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Management from Union Institute & University, complemented by a certificate in Land Development and Construction Management from the University of California, Irvine.
