Mike Vogt

Mike Vogt currently serves as Fire Chief for the City of Lapeer, a position held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Mike Vogt was Assistant Fire Chief and Fire Marshal at the City of Burton Fire Department from February 2017 to October 2021, and served as Fire Chief at the City of Mt. Morris Fire Department from June 2002 to August 2019. Additionally, Mike Vogt worked as Dispatch Supervisor for Genesee County 9-1-1 from August 2004 to February 2017. Mike Vogt holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Services Administration and an Associate of Science in Fire Science/Firefighting from Columbia Southern University, as well as a Diploma of Education in School of Staff and Command Executive Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.
