Ryan Gabner

Division Chief at City of Lauderhill

Ryan Gabner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Ryan started their career in 2006 as a Firefighter for the City of Lauderhill. Over the years, they progressed through various positions within the fire department, including Driver-Engineer, Fire Lieutenant, Battalion Chief, and most recently as a Division Chief since June 2022. In addition to their firefighting roles, Ryan also served as a Pension Board Trustee for the City of Lauderhill. In 2012, they joined Broward College - EMS as the Paramedic Program Director. Overall, Ryan has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service and leadership in the emergency response and education fields.

Ryan Gabner earned a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the University of Florida, from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Supervision & Management from Broward College, where they studied from 2002 to 2015.
