Pat Griffin

Patrick Griffin began his career with LFD February 1, 1999. Prior to his full time firefighter status for the City of Lawrence, Patrick graduated from Indiana University and worked for Wishard Hospital in the Mental Health Division. With over 19 years of experience, Pat was promoted to Lieutenant October 1, 2005 and Captain May 7, 2009. He was promoted to Battalion Chief January 1, 2011. He holds a variety of state certifications, including Fire Officer I & II, Instructor I, II & III, and Safety Officer. Pat has been active in various department committees, including Quartermaster, SOG/GO Review and Accident Review.
