Russell Baker

Russell Baker is an experienced fire service professional currently serving as Fire Captain and Driver/Operator with the City of Leavenworth, Kansas since 2008. Responsibilities include fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical duties, conducting fire inspections, and public education. Notably, Russell created a probationary firefighter training program and received multiple commendations for exemplary service, including the EMS Life Saving Award. In addition to this role, Russell has been an Associate Instructor at the Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute since 2013. Previous positions include Operations Manager at Expert Offroad and Paul Davis Restoration, and serving as a Firefighter/National Fleet Manager at Wackenhut while performing fire duties in Iraq. Russell holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Communications Studies from The University of Kansas.
