Alysia Townsend is an experienced professional with a strong background in claims management and safety. Currently serving as a Safety & Wellness Specialist for the City of Lee's Summit since May 2019, Alysia previously held positions at National Interstate Insurance Company and Broadspire, where responsibilities included managing workers’ compensation claims, client relationships, and conducting investigations and settlements. Alysia also served over ten years at The Hartford, progressing from a Claims Representative to a Senior Claims Professional and Benefits Administrator Team Lead, successfully managing teams and claims across multiple states. Earlier career experience includes roles in administration and quality assurance management, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Technical Communications from Missouri Western State University.
