Nick Martinez

Nick Martinez has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and network engineering. Nick started their career in 2006 as a Lead Technician at Eanes ISD, where they distributed work orders and installed application software. Nick later joined Learning.com as a Texas Customer Service and 2nd Tier Support, where they performed site visits and provided first-tier support to customers via various channels. In 2011, they transitioned to Eanes ISD as a Network Coordinator, responsible for providing network services and support to staff and students, as well as maintaining network infrastructure components. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at the City of Lewisville, initially as a Network Engineer, leading complex wireless deployments and providing support for the city's wireless infrastructure. Nick then progressed to the role of Information Security Officer, and eventually became the Chief Information Security Officer.

Nick Martinez has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Texas. Nick also holds a certification in GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification) obtained in June 2022 from GIAC Certifications. Additionally, they have completed training in GSEC at SANS and NSE-4 at Fortinet, although specific start and end years are not provided for these programs.
