Tadd Phillips

Tadd Phillips has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources, starting as an HR Analyst at the City of North Richland Hills in 2001. From there, they progressed to become an HR Director at the City of San Angelo in 2005 and later at the City of McKinney in 2008. In 2014, Tadd took on the role of Human Resources & Organizational Development Director at the City of Georgetown, where they also temporarily served as Interim Planning Director in 2022. Currently, Tadd is the Director of Human Resources at the City of Lewisville, where they have been since 2023.

Tadd Phillips has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. Tadd also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in HR Management from the University of North Texas. In addition, Tadd has obtained a Graduate Certification in the Senior Executive Institute from the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia.

Furthermore, Tadd has several additional certifications. Tadd is a Leadership ICMA Graduate from the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), which they obtained in October 2019. Tadd is also a certified SHRM-SCP from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), achieved in March 2015. Moreover, they hold an SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), obtained in June 2014. Lastly, Tadd has a Black Belt Certification (BB) from the City and County of Denver, attained in February 2014.
