Kristina Mai

Kristina Mai, PE, currently serves as an Associate Engineer for the City of Livermore since March 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Transportation Engineer at Caltrans from July 2018 to March 2023, and a position as Civil Engineer I at BKF Engineers from July 2017 to July 2018. Kristina's engineering journey began as a Civil Engineering Intern at Walt Disney World in 2016, supplemented by an Engineering Research Internship with the Federal Highway Administration and a Transportation Advanced Planning Student Assistant role at Caltrans. Additionally, Kristina worked as a Student Design Trainee II at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and held an Engineering Intern position in the Transportation Division at Phillips 66. Kristina holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completed between 2012 and 2017.
