Carmen Mallia

Carmen Mallia is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public engagement and digital marketing. Currently serving as the Manager of Public Engagement - Digital for the City of London, Canada, since February 2020, Carmen develops and implements effective communication strategies while fostering relationships with community partners and city staff. Previous roles include a Communications Specialist and an intern at both the City of London and Smithcom, where Carmen contributed to media relations, social media strategy, and public relations initiatives. In addition to experience as Culture Editor for The Western Gazette, Carmen has also served as a Student Ambassador at Western University and coordinated promotional events for the Charity Ball. Carmen holds a Bachelor of Arts with an Honors Specialization in Media, Information and Technoculture from Western University.
