Ian Silver

Ian Silver is a retired professional with extensive experience in education and administration, having worked as a teacher of French and various subjects across Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Manitoba from September 1968 to February 1993. Ian served as a school counsellor in the Cupar and Radville School Divisions during the early 1990s and held managerial positions at the City of Winnipeg from February 1977 to January 1989, where responsibilities included training in management and administering pension programs. Ian also worked as an Administrative Officer and Educational Planner for the Government of Manitoba from November 1973 to February 1977. Involved in community service, Ian is a voting member of the Diversity and Race Relations Advisory Committee. Ian holds multiple degrees, including an HBA in Philosophy from Huron University and a B.Ed. in Political Science and French from the University of Toronto, among others.
