Emma Wegoda

Emma Wegoda serves as the Head of the Asia Pacific Region and the Asset Management Sector at the City of London Corporation since January 2020, focusing on strategies to enhance the investment management sector with an ambitious goal of doubling assets under management by 2030. Prior to this role, Emma was the Head of Investor Relations for Asia Pacific at the Department for International Trade, managing institutional investor relations and supporting UK infrastructure investment from Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia. Emma's extensive background includes senior positions at UK Trade & Investment, where strategic project management and event coordination played a critical role, as well as significant political experience as Chief of Staff for UK Members of Parliament. Currently, Emma is pursuing a degree in International Studies at The Open University.
