Christina Sarmiento serves as the Assistant Procurement Lead and Community Program Specialist IV for the City of Long Beach since October 2018, previously holding the role of Assistant Buyer II. With extensive experience from CM School Supply as an Administrative Manager, Christina managed the General Services Administration MAS Contract and led multiple Early Childhood Catalog projects. Involvement with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society included mentoring for the Team in Training program across various events from 2005 to 2013. Christina holds a Management Certificate for Public Procurement from California State University-San Bernardino and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Cal State Fullerton, alongside an Associate of Arts degree from Long Beach City College.
