Deepika Thompson is a seasoned attorney currently serving as the Deputy City Attorney for the City of Long Beach since February 2022. Prior to this role, Deepika held positions at Lozano Smith as Senior Counsel, Erskine Law, PC as Senior Attorney, and Dannis Woliver Kelley as an Attorney, focusing on areas such as public education law, financial services, and construction litigation. Deepika began a legal career at Barrett Daffin Frappier Treder & Weiss, LLP and Cohen & Lord, a P.C., where responsibilities included representing clients in various litigation matters and advising on business transactions. Deepika earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 2007 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Policy Studies, and Accounting from UCLA, obtained in 2004.
