Jonah Kreitzberg

Jonah Kreitzberg is an Energy Technologies Engineer at the City of Longmont since August 2025, focusing on achieving 100% renewable energy for the municipal utility by 2030. Prior to this role, Jonah served as an Energy Innovator Fellow with the U.S. Department of Energy from September 2023 to July 2025. Jonah's experience also includes a position as a Teaching Assistant at Tufts University, where responsibilities involved supporting courses in Computer Science and Machine Structure. Additional internships include software development at COI Energy, where a feature was designed to calculate Scope 2 emissions, and at Zwift, where work involved enhancing the account deletion process and automated testing. Jonah's academic background features a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Environmental Studies from Tufts University, completed in 2023, and a high school diploma from South Eugene High School, earned in 2018.
