Lamont B. Cobb

Lamont B. Cobb is a seasoned urban planner with extensive experience in planning and economic development. Currently serving as Director at HR&A Advisors since January 2021, Lamont previously held the position of Planning and Economic Development Deputy at Los Angeles City Hall, where responsibilities included implementing Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson's vision for planning and capital improvements in Council District 8. Other notable roles include Neighborhood Planner at the DC Office of Planning, Transportation Planner at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, and Planner at Arlington County. Lamont’s early career includes internships at the Philadelphia Zoning Code Commission and the City of Atlanta Bureau of Planning. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies/Affairs from Morehouse College and a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
