Greg Wormser

Greg Wormser serves as Fire Chief for the City of Lynchburg, a position held since September 1995, with a progression through various roles including Deputy Chief, Battalion Chief of Field Operations, Fire Marshal, Fire Captain, and Paramedic. In addition to municipal responsibilities, Greg Wormser has been an Adjunct Professor at Liberty University since September 2017. Prior experience includes serving as a Flight Paramedic at Centra Health from June 2001 to June 2018. Greg Wormser holds a Master of Public Administration in Local Government from Old Dominion University, a Masters Certificate in Local Government Management from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Lynchburg.
