Michelle LaPoetica Richardson is an accomplished founder and director at DENCITY since May 2003, with extensive experience in community engagement and the arts. As the first Poet Laureate of the City of Lynn, Massachusetts, appointed in April 2025, Michelle serves as an ambassador for the literary arts, promoting poetry as a tool for community connection and empowerment. Additionally, as the owner of DiRiMi 360 Services, Michelle has been actively contributing to the creative economy while previously holding the position of Community Engagement Manager at Raw Art Works from January 2023 to May 2025.
