Jon Evans is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Building Design Project Manager in the Engineering Division of the City of Madison, WI since June 2016, Jon previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at the Sustainable Engineering Group from September 2006 to June 2016. Earlier roles include Mechanical Engineer at Atlas Scientific, where responsibilities encompassed research and development in cryocoolers and cryogenic turbines, as well as Graduate Student at the UW Madison Solar Engineering Lab, focusing on microclimate cooling options. Jon holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
