Russell Knudson Pe

Russell Knudson, PE, LEED AP, serves as Associate Vice President and Principal at HGA since February 2022, bringing extensive expertise in engineering and design management. Currently, Russell also fulfills the role of Commissioner for Urban Design in Madison, WI, where the appointment involves reviewing and advising on the aesthetic aspects of public and private projects to enhance community welfare. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Energy Performance at Strang, where Russell focused on environmental well-being and energy efficiency. Russell's engineering background includes positions in commissioning, mechanical design, and research, with a foundation in mechanical engineering earned through a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University.
