Steve Fama

Steve Fama is an experienced professional with a diverse background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), management, and media. As the Manager of GIS Operations for the City of Malden since August 2003, Steve oversees all aspects of the city’s GIS system, including vendor management and data handling. Steve is also the Owner/Operator of Random Music Radio and has held the position of Chairman of the Business Tech Department at Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School since October 2015. In addition, Steve operates a photography business, Steve Fama Photography, while previously managing media for Malden Girl Scouts and working in furniture sales at Babies R Us. Early career experience includes serving as Assistant Assessor for the City of Somerville. Steve holds a high school diploma in Architectural Drafting and CAD from Somerville Tech High School.
