George Gabriel

George Gabriel, MPP, currently serves as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Manhattan Beach, having held this position since November 2016. Responsibilities include assisting with citywide strategic initiatives and overseeing the City’s homeless response through grant coordination and contract administration. Previously, George served as a Senior Management Analyst and Management Analyst within the same city, where duties encompassed high-level analytical support and serving as a homelessness liaison. Prior to Manhattan Beach, George worked for the City of Malibu in various roles, including Media and Technology Technician and Graduate Student Intern. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Public Policy from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from UC San Diego.
