Jesica Portie

Jesica Portie is an experienced urban planning and project management professional, currently serving as the Assistant City Planner for the City of Manvel since June 2024. Prior to this role, Jesica held multiple positions at the City of Pearland, Texas, from September 2021 to May 2024, including Project Manager and Engineering Project Coordinator. Jesica's career also includes work as an Envelope Inspector at SOCOTEC, an Urban Planner at LJA Engineering, Inc., and a Document Controller and Civil Engineering Intern at Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. Additionally, Jesica has experience in retail management as an Assistant Manager at Kirkland’s Home Décor. Jesica holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and an Associate of Science degree in Physics from San Jacinto College.
