Steve Faltas P.eng

Steve Faltas P.Eng, MBA, serves as the Director of Engineering for the City of Maple Ridge since May 2024, bringing extensive experience in engineering and project management. Previously, Steve held various senior roles at the City of New Westminster from October 2015 to May 2024, leading strategic initiatives within the Electrical Utility department, managing a capital portfolio exceeding $100M, and developing the Electrical Utility’s 5-year Strategic Plan. Prior to that, Steve worked at BC Hydro in multiple capacities, including Business Improvement Manager, where key operational improvements were implemented. Steve's experience also includes significant roles at Konecranes, where leadership in project management led to substantial revenue growth and innovative developments in crane design. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Sustainable Business from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University.
