Mark Goodman has extensive work experience in law enforcement. Mark began their career in 1994 as a Police Commander at the Pasadena Police Department, where they served for nearly three decades until 2023. In January 2023, they became the Chief of Police at the City of Maricopa.

Mark Goodman completed a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from California State University, Los Angeles, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from California Coast University, which they completed from 2014 to 2016.
