Ismael Hernandez

Ismael Hernandez is an experienced public works professional currently serving as the Public Works Director for the City of Marina since December 2024. Previously, Hernandez held the position of Director of Public Works Operations for the City of Madera from April 2023 to November 2024 and served as Public Works Director for the City of Dinuba from June 2004 to April 2023. During this extensive career, Hernandez has effectively planned, organized, and directed various public works operations, including streets, water distribution, sewer collection, and wastewater treatment. Earlier roles include Public Works Superintendent and Street Maintenance Supervisor, showcasing a solid foundation in public works management. Hernandez holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Liberty University, earned between 2013 and 2019, and graduated from Dinuba High School.
