Steve Devine currently serves as a Senior Management Analyst for the City of Martinez since June 2022. Prior to this role, Steve worked as a Program Manager for the County of Marin from June 2011 to August 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing Zero Waste Marin, the Certified Unified Program Agency, and the Local Stormwater Program. Additionally, Steve held the position of Associate Management Analyst for the City of Berkeley from 2009 to June 2011 and worked as the Executive Director for the West Contra Costa Integrated Waste Management Authority from 2001 to 2009, managing a public agency with a $1M budget and reporting to a Board of Directors. Steve began their career as a Recycling Coordinator at Recology from 1990 to 1993. Steve received a B.S. in Environmental Policy & Planning from the University of California, Davis, having previously studied at UC Santa Barbara.
