Kline has held various positions within the police department, including Police Lieutenant, Police Sergeant, Police Detective, and Police Officer. Prior to this, Kline worked as a Corrections Officer for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office from May to December 2003 and served as a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Franklin, Ohio earlier in the same year. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Ohio University (2020-2022) and an Associate's degree in the same field from Sinclair Community College (2016-2017), alongside prior studies at Miami University in 1990-1992.
