Devon Hanson

Devon Hanson is an accomplished Electrical Engineering Superintendent at the City of Medicine Hat since February 2019, bringing extensive project management experience from previous roles, including Project Manager at CANA High Voltage Ltd. and Construction Manager at SNC-Lavalin. In these positions, Devon oversaw various projects involving budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and quality assurance, while coordinating technical aspects and managing multiple contractors. Early career experiences include roles as a Field Engineer and Transmission Lines EIT at SNC-Lavalin and Project EIT at JD Irving, where Devon gained skills in design, project coordination, and construction supervision. Devon's foundation in engineering was established with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, awarded in 2010.
