Fernando Herrera is an experienced urban and regional planning professional with a diverse background in various planning roles. Currently an Associate Planner for the City of Menifee since January 2022, Fernando previously served as an Assistant Planner for the City of Fontana and the City of Desert Hot Springs. Prior positions include Urban Planner at The Planning Associates TPA and Planning Intern roles at the City of Downey and the City of San Bernardino. Fernando holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a Bachelor's degree in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
