Mickey Brunelli is an experienced fire service professional currently serving as Battalion Chief for the City of Merced since December 2019. Previous roles include Director of Operations at Riggs Ambulance Service/SEMSA, EMS Coordinator for Santa Clara County Fire Department, and a variety of positions including Fire Captain, EMS Coordinator, Fire Engineer, and Firefighter at the City of Merced from 2003 to 2015. Mickey also worked as a Paramedic at Riggs Ambulance Service and held seasonal firefighter positions with the State of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Mickey holds an Associate's Degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University, completed in 2015.
