Elyce Gobat

Elyce Gobat, CEcD, currently serves as Project Manager for the City of Mesa Office of Economic Development, where significant achievements include attracting over 20 businesses resulting in the creation of more than 1,200 jobs and managing $78 million in capital investment. Responsibilities encompass spearheading the city’s Retail Attraction Strategy, establishing an Annual Report, and advising businesses on development processes. Previously recognized as the Young Economic Development Professional of the Year in 2022, Elyce has held various roles, including Director of Research & Special Projects at the Economic Development Corporation of Lea County, where certification as a Certified Economic Developer was attained. Additional experience includes freelance creative writing and teaching English in international settings. Elyce holds a BA in French and Political Science from the University of Arizona.
