Jenni Gilmer

Jenni Gilmer is a communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in education and strategic communications. Currently serving as the Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the City of Mesquite since February 2023, Jenni specializes in speech writing, media relations, and social media messaging. Prior roles include teaching English Language Arts at various middle schools, with responsibilities in both advanced and honors sections. Additionally, Jenni has a background in investor relations management at Tribune Publishing and has completed freelance communication projects for clients such as Richland College and Texas Health Resources. Jenni holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from LaGrange College and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Southern Methodist University.
