Bill Collins

Bill Collins, MPA-HR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP, is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Director of Human Resources and Risk Manager for the City of Miami Springs since July 2016. Prior to this role, Bill worked as a Human Resources Generalist for the City of Miami and held the position of Senior Consultant at Global HR, Inc. Bill has also contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Human Resources Management at Barry University and served as the Director of Diversity and ADA Compliance at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Earlier career experience includes supervising the HR section and acting as ADA Coordinator for Miami-Dade County Government. Bill holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Human Resources from American Public University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Excelsior University, along with legal education from the University of Miami School of Law.
