Thomas Snively OFE has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the fire department and in the private sector. Thomas started their career as a firefighter with the City of Middletown, Ohio in 1992 and progressed through the ranks, serving as a Fire Lieutenant, Fire Captain, and Deputy Fire Chief. In these roles, they were responsible for supervising personnel, equipment, and facilities at fire stations, responding to emergencies, and making critical decisions related to firefighting and emergency medical services. In 2016, Thomas became the Assistant Fire Chief, where they assisted in budget preparation, established objectives and goals, and provided technical advice. Presently, they hold the position of Fire Chief for the City of Middletown, Ohio. Prior to their career in the fire department, Thomas worked as a Fabricator at Fujitec America Inc from 1985 to 1992.

Thomas Snively OFE attended Sinclair Community College from 2010 to 2013, where they earned an Associate of Technical Studies (ATS) degree in Fire/EMS Administration. Prior to that, they attended Monroe High School from 1980 to 1983, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.
