Elizabeth Triggs is a seasoned professional in planning and economic development with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Planning and Development Officer for the City of Midland since January 2024, Triggs previously held significant roles including Director of Economic & International Development for the City of El Paso, and a series of positions within the City of El Paso's Planning & Inspections and Economic & International Development departments. Triggs also worked as an Economist at the United States Postal Service and as a Research Analyst at The University of Texas at El Paso, where Triggs began a career focused on economic policy. Triggs holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of Texas at El Paso.
