Andrew Poster

Andrew Poster has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Andrew began their career as a Transportation Engineer at O'Rourke Engineering in 1991 before moving on to roles at DKS Associates and Higgins and Associates. In 1996, they became the Traffic Engineer at the City of Daly City, where they managed and operated all traffic signals and street lights.

Andrew then joined Republic ITS, a Siemens Company, in 2002 and held various roles including Traffic Engineer, Regional Manager, and Area Manager. Andrew was responsible for managing multi-million dollar businesses, leading project management teams, and securing maintenance and construction projects.

In 2013, Andrew became the Interim Public Works Director/City Engineer for the City of Novato, where they directed and led all Public Works activities. Andrew then worked at Interwest Consulting Group, Inc. as a Municipal Services employee before transitioning to ADP Consulting in 2014. At ADP Consulting, Andrew served as the Owner and provided a wide range of consulting services to private businesses and public agencies.

Most recently, Andrew has been the Director of Public Works/City Engineer for the City of Mill Valley since 2016. In this role, they lead a department of 45 professionals and oversees engineering, operations, and wastewater treatment divisions.

Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated their ability to provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, manage budgets, and complete projects on time and on budget.

Andrew Poster attended Syracuse University from 1986 to 1991 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
