Casper Hill has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. From 1989 to 1994, Hill worked as a Producer/Associate Producer at Lee Enterprises - KGUN-TV Tucson, where they coordinated newscast production and received a merit award. They then joined Alternative Media, Incorporated as a Columnist, where they wrote a humorous weekly column and created features for various publications.

In 1994, Hill moved to Fox Broadcasting Company - WJBK-TV Detroit, where they worked as a Writer/Producer, writing stories and news segments and producing newscasts. From 1995 to 1996, they also wrote a humorous column for Detroit Metro Times.

In 1997, Hill joined Hubbard Broadcasting - KSTP-TV as a Writer/Producer and later became a Producer. During their time there, they wrote, edited, and maintained the television station's online product, expanding on the television coverage and making data more user-friendly for viewers.

In 2005, Hill started working at the City of Minneapolis as a Communications, Public Affairs professional, managing communications and public relations projects for city departments. They handled media relations, created strategic communications plans, and managed news conferences. They also worked as a Media Relations Coordinator for the same company.

From 2006 to 2007, Hill worked as a Freelance Communications Consultant for InterDistrict Downtown School, creating a communications plan to raise the school's profile.

In 2011, Hill became the President/Board Member of Club Run Minneapolis, a nonprofit long-distance running group. They directed marketing and promotional efforts to increase the club's image in the running community.

Lastly, in 2013, Hill ran for election to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, managing various campaign efforts such as website and social media development, fundraising, and voter outreach.

Casper Hill pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning in 1984. From 1984 to 1989, they attended the University of Arizona, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in broadcasting. After a brief break, they returned to academia in 1998 and attended Augsburg University for a year, where they obtained a Certification in Information Technology.
