Clare Coupe

Clare Coupe is an accomplished communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications and Public Affairs at Lancashire County Council since November 2023, Clare has previously held key positions, including Head of Public Information and Head of Engagement at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport from January 2021 to November 2023, and Director of External Affairs at UA92 from March 2018 to January 2021. Additional experience includes roles as Head of Marketing at both Lancaster University and Rossall School, Strategic Marketing Manager at the University of Cumbria, and Senior Brand Manager at Blackburn College. Clare began a career in marketing with Findel Education as a Brand Manager. Academic qualifications include a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the University of Lancashire and a BA Hons in Performing Arts from The University of Salford.
