Guled Ibrahim

Guled Ibrahim has a diverse work experience in the legal and policy sectors. Guled started their career as a Law Clerk and Certified Student Attorney at the Hennepin County Attorney's Office and later served as a Law Clerk at the United States Attorney's Office. Guled then joined the City of Minneapolis as a Policy Analyst in Intergovernmental Relations. Guled also gained experience as a Rotary Peace Fellow at the Rotary Peace Center at the University of Queensland and as a Global Ambassador for One Young World. Guled became a New Leaders Council Fellow and later worked as a Senior Regulatory Compliance Attorney for the City of Minneapolis. Recently, Guled has been a Bush Fellow and a Humphrey Policy Fellow at the Bush Foundation and the University of Minnesota respectively. Throughout their career, Guled has demonstrated a commitment to public service and advocacy.

Guled Ibrahim has a diverse educational background. Guled obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Minnesota. Guled then pursued further studies and received a Master of International Studies in Peace and Conflict from The University of Queensland. Guled also holds an International Master of Business Administration - iMBA degree from BPP University. In addition, they completed the CMI Level 8 Certificate in Leadership and Strategic Management from the Chartered Management Institute.

In the field of law, Guled attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Guled also obtained a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the same institution. Furthermore, Guled participated in a special program called Mitchell in London, where they studied with Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr.

Alongside their formal education, Guled has obtained additional certifications, such as the "Bill George on Self Awareness, Authenticity and Leadership" certification from LinkedIn, obtained in March 2017. Guled also holds the "J.T. O'Donnell on Making Recruiters Come to You" certification, also acquired through LinkedIn in March 2017.
